Is your clinic different from a spa?
KNHC is a health care facility, not a spa.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to use your services?
No. You can phone or drop in to make an appointment yourself.

Can I discuss an ailment or treatment with you, over the phone?
Yes, we can discuss your ailment and suggest services that may be of help to you.

How is Infra Red Sauna different from a regular sauna?
Far Infrared Sauna penetrates the body’s surface with Infrared energy by about 1.5 inches deep. It raises the body’s core temperature causing a “super-healing” effect in tissue while detoxifying the body of heavy metals and environmental pollutants. The extreme heat of a regular sauna can disrupt the body’s temperature regulating mechanisms and cause harm.

I find traditional saunas too hot, is Infrared any different?
Infrared sauna is completely different. It operates effectively at comfortable temperatures that range from 110-125 degrees Fahrenheit. Traditional sauna temperatures can reach extremes of 190-210 degrees Fahrenheit, which can be unbearable for many.

Do I need to bring anything to use the Infrared sauna?
Yes, Bring 4-5 towels

Is your clinic wheelchair accessible?
Yes, and there is free parking right at our front door.

What types of therapies do Natural health care practitioners use?
Natural Health Therapies is the art and science of disease treatment and prevention using natural therapies including: Botanical medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Hydrotherapy, Homeopathy, Spinal Manipulation, Traditional Chinese Medicine / Acupuncture, and Lifestyle Counselling.

What types of conditions do Natural health care practitioners treat?
Natural health care practitioners can treat the same conditions as a family doctor, including both acute concerns and chronic health conditions. In the event that an Natural Therapist  is unable to treat your condition, they will refer appropriately.

How long are Natural health care appointments?
The first appointment with @ KNHC is about 1.5- 2 hours and subsequent appointments rang e from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your specific health concerns.

What should I expect during my first visit with a Natural health care practitioner?
Typically during the initial visit we will take a detailed history of your current and past health concerns, conduct a physical exam and use information to make an assessment With the patient’s input, a personalized treatment plan will be proposed to help facilitate achieving their health goals.
